Know the message itself
Apologetics clears the path; the gospel is the destination. Know how to explain who Jesus is, what He did and how to respond, simply and from Scripture.
Keep the main thing central
Arguments can remove obstacles, but people come to faith by meeting Jesus. Paul reasoned with people and always brought them back to Christ crucified and risen.
2Paul, as was his custom, went in to them; and for three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”

Why the evidence matters

God loves you and gave His Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish.
