Sceptics who changed their minds
Antony Flew: an atheist philosopher follows the argument
For decades one of the best-known atheist philosophers, Flew announced in 2004 that he had come to believe in God, largely because of the evidence of design in nature. He did not become a Christian. He explained his change in There Is a God (2007).

His account
Flew said he had always tried to follow the argument wherever it led. He came to believe in a creator God (deism), and remained open to, but not persuaded of, Christianity. We include him because his change was public and because it is often misreported: he did not become a Christian.

Where Christians disagree
- Some critics questioned how much of There Is a God (written with Roy Abraham Varghese) was Flew's own work. Flew affirmed that the book expressed his views.
