Why does God allow suffering?
The Bible does not give every reason, but it says God is good, evil is real, God entered our suffering in Jesus and He will end it. The cross shows He is not distant from it.
Free creatures can choose evil, and much suffering follows from that. God can bring good from what He did not cause. The resurrection promises that suffering will not have the last word.
18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
